This Thursday – Alison’s last Greencare – we cooked our lunch of broccoli, potato and cheese soup plus roasted beetroot and sweet potato carrot soup. We cooked blue shelled eggs for the egg mayo, brought by James from Bluebell Aricana hens.
In the afternoon we celebrated our time with Alison with flowers, a card and a superb allotment cake (created by Vanessa) plus an impromptu rhyme from John: “Yum yum I’ve got Cake in my Tum. Took a long time to bake, two seconds to decimate!”. The yurt now has a new pink compost bin which was a leaving gift from Alison. We will think of her every time we compost 🙂
Our friend Alison, stay safe, stay strong, sock it d’yoof! We will miss you. Wish you the best of luck in your new job.
