Much excitement this week as the new green crown cover for the yurt, our multicoloured Turkish lantern, and new wood burner were delivered and installed in the yurt. Many thanks once again for the generosity of Hayley and Sam for their feat of endurance that raised the funds for our Yurt refurbishment. The crown and lantern are resplendent and we are very proud.
We welcomed Hils back into the fold who was very pleased to be back after her summer break.
Check in was invaluable and priceless. We celebrated the victory of a member’S 42 year long battle. Support was given by group member’s which was very helpful.
We made and shared a delicious lunch of crispy baked potato, along with the speciality of yurt being Sharon’s famous egg mayo accompanied by baked beans and cheese. We all felt very snoozey after lunch.
After horses were visited and washing up done we chose stickers, wrote blog and had check out before hometime – and the stylish new woodburner, with self-cleaning window, arrived just before we all left.
