Planting flowers outside, check-in and out in the yurt, lunch on the sunny verandah and cherry stone spitting on the hill! Very enjoyable day but Fiona and Jason were missed. Thanks to Hils for the great idea of the cherry spitting contest – Mary Rex and Vanessa were the winners but we decided Mary’s height was too much of an advantage.
We experimented with making falafels and spiralising our veg – and we felt the joy of our first broad bean harvest, devoured at lunch. The morning’s discussion focused on how to hold onto the good stuff in our minds and bring it to use when we are feeling low. Holding he care of other people from Greencare can help us through those troubled times.
