Growing Better Lives

25th August 2016: Hot and Humid!

A very warm yurt covered on clear tarpaulin still. Environment very hot and uncomfortable but also feelings were raw, excited, and intensely uncomfortable. Feelings met with empathy and understanding, felt soothing.

Welcomed a new member, Tony to the group. Looked at planting schedule for the Autumn and winter, spring cabbage, spinach, turnip, lettuce. Harvested and planted hollyhock seeds hopefully to sell to raise funds.

Thorough water, including ourselves, and transplanted another Growing Better Lives oak seedling to replace the one which went missing. Pumpkins growing nicely, starting to turn orange. Corn’s coming on, as high as an elephants eye. All ready to go home because so, so hot.
