Today we had the day ‘we needed’: meaningful, comforting and grounding.
A small (but perfectly formed!) group met in the yurt made cosy with the wood burning stove – missing our absent friends. After check-in we took a morning walk in the crisp cold air, enjoying the clear sunlight, making friends with horses and feeling invigorated!
Back to the yurt for hot drinks and mince pies, then we then started collecting evergreens to decorate the yurt for Christmas. Holly, ivy, red berries, pine branches all found plus a great shaped naked branch to form the basis of our upside-down Christmas tree.
We made a warm and comforting lunch together then started the decoration of the yurt. Much more greenery needed next week and we have left plenty of decorating for Sharon to do and enjoy!
We leave the day, back out into the cold, looking forward to meeting out friends next week 🙂
