Neil’s first job was as a then called ‘Nursing Assistant’ on the boys’ adolescent ward at Bethlem Royal Hospital. He then went to work in a secure unit at a boys’ assessment centre before then transferring to the Henderson Hospital as a social therapist for over 2 years. After that he worked in a day centre (loosely based as a therapeutic community) where he qualified as a Group Analyst. He was a member of the founding staff team for LLEs in 1995. His last job was in an NHS personality disorder service therapeutic community based in Aylesbury Buckinghamshire.
